Guerrero de mil batallas, el Tata Cedrón es una leyenda viva del tango. Creó su famoso cuarteto hace más de 60 años y su sonido sigue siendo una obstinada y bella convicción, una declaración de principios: auténtico, arriesgado y conmovedor.
Compositor, guitarrista, arreglador y figura clave en la cultura de Buenos Aires y París, Cedrón musicalizó a algunos de los más grandes poetas: Juan Gelman, Raúl González Tuñón, Paco Urondo, Homero Manzi, Dylan Thomas y Bertolt Brecht.
A sus ochenta y tantos años, sigue componiendo, grabando y presentándose en vivo con la misma intensidad que cuando tenía veintipocos. En esta charla íntima llena de música y reflexiones, el Tata nos lleva de paseo por su mirada, su experiencia y su total compromiso con el tango y la argentinidad.

Composer, guitarist, arranger, and a key figure in the cultural life of both Buenos Aires and Paris, Cedrón set to music the words of some of the greatest poets: Juan Gelman, Raúl González Tuñón, Paco Urondo, Homero Manzi, Dylan Thomas, and Bertolt Brecht.
Now in his eighties, he’s still composing, recording, and performing live with the same passion he had in his twenties. In this intimate conversation — full of music and reflections — Tata shares his unique perspective, his artistic journey, and his deep commitment to tango and Argentine identity.
