Este nuevo episodio de ¿Cuál es tu tango? es de esos que valen oro.
Hoy tengo la oportunidad de acercarte a un artista extraordinario que, a pesar de su enorme talento y trayectoria, mantiene un perfil bajo, acorde a la humildad que lo caracteriza.
Horacio Avilano es un eslabón fundamental de la tradición guitarrística tanguera. De la mano de su tío, Héctor Arbelo, llegó muy joven a tocar y grabar junto al gran Edmundo Rivero, entre otros grandes. Con los años compartió el camino de la música junto a máximos referentes como Juanjo Domínguez y Luis Salinas, y desde hace casi 30 años es parte del sonido que acompaña a Adriana Varela en todas sus presentaciones y discos.
Pero hay algo más difícil de explicar —y más importante—: su manera de decir el tango. Sin artificios, solo con verdad y con una profundidad que no se encuentra fácilmente.
En esta charla vas a encontrar eso: música, historia y varias yapas donde Horacio nos comparte su arte de una manera tan espontánea como generosa. Muy Avilano todo.

Today I have the opportunity to introduce you to an extraordinary artist who, despite his immense talent and trajectory, keeps a low profile—true to the humility that defines him.
Horacio Avilano is a fundamental link in the tradition of tango guitar. Guided by his uncle, Héctor Arbelo, he began at a very young age to play and record with the great Edmundo Rivero, among other masters. Over the years, he shared his musical path with figures such as Juanjo Domínguez and Luis Salinas, and for nearly 30 years he has been part of the sound that accompanies Adriana Varela in all her performances and recordings.
